Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alberto Rossi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruffuss Passat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Passat comes into a darkened arena with his song building. looser by Beck kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Passat pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Passat throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Passat is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Rossi misses with a kick to the body.
Rossi scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Ruffuss Passat has been cut.
Rossi wants to clinch up but Passat keeps it at a distance.
Rossi moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Passat counters by moving into the clinch.
Passat gets underhooks to prevent Rossi's takedown attempt.

Rossi jumps guard but Passat stands there with Rossi around his waist. Rossi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rossi tries to clinch but Passat moves away
and Passat counters by clinching up.
Rossi fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Rossi wants the takedown. Passat is fighting it off but Rossi persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Passat's guard against the cage.
Passat has control of Rossi's left arm, preventing Rossi from doing any damage.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rossi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rossi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Alberto Rossi will probably get the nod.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ruffuss Passat comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Passat has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
