Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Arthur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Polk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Arthur! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Polk! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Arthur with that takedown attempt. Nice defenses there by Arthur. Polk misses with a wild body shot. Polk drops Arthur with a right and a left! Polk comes rushing in but Arthur regains his composure and manages to keep Polk in guard.
It looks like Chuck Arthur has been cut. Arthur is looking for a triangle but Polk pushes his legs off easily.
Polk wanted to stand there but Arthur had control of the position. Arthur is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Polk decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Polk throws a right and a left that Arthur avoids nicely. Polk misses with a body shot.
Polk loads up on a big right hand but Arthur slips the punch. Polk misses with an uppercut. A punch combination from Polk misses. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Arthur. Horrible takedown by Arthur or perhaps it was just good defense by Polk which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Arthur. That's going to take a lot out of him. Polk missing with a left hand there. Arthur was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Arthur slips under a jab from Polk. Arthur has a takedown stuffed. A swing and a miss from Polk.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Arthur slips a jab from Polk. James Polk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Arthur shoots in looking for a takedown. Polk tries to sprawl out of it but Arthur keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Polk manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Polk misses with an uppercut. Nice takedown defense from Polk. No joy for Arthur on that attempt. Arthur is breathing heavily. Arthur moves out of range of the strikes. Arthur fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Polk feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Arthur sprawling to the canvas! Arthur rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Polk finish him?!
Polk lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Polk!
