Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Genesis Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelvin Garnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garnett has chosen Metallica - For Whom the Bell Tolls as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 24 - 0, fighting out of London, Kelvin Garnett!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Piper. Garnett does a little dance to reset his feet.
Garnett throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Piper stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Piper closes the distance and clinches up with Garnett, looking for a takedown. Piper pushes Garnett against the cage but Garnett circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Piper fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Garnett avoids it really well and circles away.
Garnett uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Piper.
Piper loads up on a big right hand but Garnett slips the punch.
A jab lands there for Piper.
Piper swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Garnett makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Garnett connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Piper's hands.
A left lands for Piper.
Garnett avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Garnett.
Garnett takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Genesis Piper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Piper takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Piper closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Garnett moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Garnett throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Piper.
Piper misses with a right hand
and Garnett counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Kelvin Garnett is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Oh Piper is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Piper glances at the clock... BAM! Garnett nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Piper crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Piper is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
