The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slide is trying hard to land a takedown here. Litoris sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Slide missing with a left hand there. Litoris was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Litoris fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Slide misses with a hook
and Litoris counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Cesar Slide seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slide looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Litoris is fending him off so far but Slide persists. Nope, Litoris circles away and we're back to standing.
Slide shoots and misses
and Litoris connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mike Litoris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cesar Slide.
Litoris pounces like a tiger and cracks Slide with a vicious hook! Slide is down but not out! Litoris follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
