The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Uusisto on the side of the head.
James looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
James tries to move into range but Uusisto moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Uusisto looks to throw the jab but James is out of range.
James scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Jurmas Uusisto has been cut.
James lands a head kick. Uusisto smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Rick James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
James throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Uusisto.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
