The bell rings for round one and we are underway! LaFontier scores with a one two! Johnson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Calvin Johnson has been cut. We've been informed that LaFontier has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. LaFontier closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Johnson! LaFontier dives in looking to finish! Johnson is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
