The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Ramyay.
Da Silva looks to land a body kick but Ramyay moved away.
Ramyay pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Da Silva drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ramyay is not content to let Da Silva control the position.
Da Silva throwing strikes but Ramyay manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Da Silva manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Ramyay prevents Da Silva from standing back up.

Da Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ramyay wants to stand but Da Silva has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Da Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ramyay gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Da Silva has an active guard here but Ramyay has managed to pass into half guard.
Ramyay tries to stand but can't do so whilst Da Silva controls his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Da Silva pushes Ramyay off looking to stand but Ramyay dives back in and keeps control.
Da Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ramyay tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ramyay looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
No joy there for Ramyay, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Da Silva is trying to drag Ramyay to the mat but Ramyay just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Da Silva gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Ramyay regains guard.

Da Silva drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ramyay manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Da Silva has Ramyay in his guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ramyay ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Da Silva moves away.

and Ramyay counters with a good low kick that Da Silva was not able to check.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Da Silva.

A left lands for Da Silva.
Da Silva lands with a thumping leg kick.
Da Silva throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Ramyay counters with a nice uppercut.
Ramyay throws a wild body kick that Da Silva sees coming a mile off.
Da Silva tries to clinch up but Ramyay circles away and keeps his distance.

Da Silva is looking to wear down Ramyay with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Da Silva cracks Ramyay with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Ramyay throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ramyay is looking to clinch but Da Silva is avoiding it.
Da Silva shoots in for a double leg but Ramyay sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ramyay throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Da Silva.

and Da Silva counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Da Silva is pressing down on Ramyay's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ramyay is holding on for now.
Da Silva looks to land a strike but Ramyay avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Da Silva gets to his feet. Ramyay looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Ramyay throws the left hand but Da Silva avoids the punch easily.
And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Gordon Ramyay.
I think Ramyay has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
