Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ichabod Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crane comes to the cage accompanied by Broken Bones - Decapitated. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young tries to bum rush Crane with a series of wild strikes but Crane uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Young scores with a jab. Crane acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Young misses the shot to the body.
Young scores with a decent looking hook.
Young misses with a straight right.
Crane takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Young looks to land a right hand but Crane moved out of range.
Crane takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Crane displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Young throws out the jab.

and Crane counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Crane.

Young is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Young tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Crane presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Crane postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Young looks a forlorn figure.

We've been hearing that Crane has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Crane loads up with a big shot that hurts Young! He's pulled Crane in close but Crane has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Young survive? More strikes from Crane and Young is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ichabod Crane!
Ichabod Crane really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Valhalla Fight Wear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
