Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dean.
Dean looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dean takes one on the button.
Dean on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Dean walks into a straight right hand from Golem.
Golem connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Golem fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dean is out of range.
Dean shoots in for a double leg but Golem sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Golem throws a series of punches but Dean moves out of range.
Golem shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dean is trying to defend but Golem finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dean trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Golem manages to pass to mount!
Dean tries to lock up and control but Golem gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Golem looking to control and managing it successfully.
Dean regains half guard.
Dean wants to control but Golem is keeping busy.
Golem wants to stand up but Dean manages to regain full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Dean trying to keep a closed guard but Golem is proving a slippery customer.

Golem is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Golem wanted to stand there but Dean had control of the position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Golem trying to move into half guard but instead Dean has managed to sweep!
Dean is looking to stand up but Golem won't let him.
Dean will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dean gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Golem tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dean paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Golem looks winded!
Golem looking to score a takedown here. Dean is defending well but Golem drives through and ends up in Dean's guard.

Golem being controlled here momentarily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dean is on top in guard.
Golem preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dean in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Golem wants to control but Dean passes easily into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Totoy Golem dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Dean shoots in looking for a takedown but Golem manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dean's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Golem closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dean's guard.
Golem wants to stand and escape but instead Dean has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Golem is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dean is controlling him.
Dean throwing strikes but missing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dean missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Golem is breathing heavily.

Dean stands up from Golem's guard - Dean perhaps looking for a knockout.
A lazy left from Golem finds it's target.
Golem throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Golem jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dean gets a takedown into half guard.
Dean thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Golem's head.
Dean not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Golem is looking to improve his position.

Golem tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Dean manages to move to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Golem is looking to get to half guard.

Dean takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Gaston Dean overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Golem is in a horrible position here. Dean smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Dean cracks Golem with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Dean's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Golem is rocked!
Dean drops a big elbow. That's hurt Golem! More shots from Dean and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
