And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Reino Kanki!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wulf closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kanki to the mat! Kanki manages to get full guard.
Wulf tries to free his leg and advance position but Kanki is retaining full guard.

Kanki is looking for a triangle but Wulf pushes his legs off easily.
Wulf throwing strikes but missing.

Wulf might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Wulf stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Kanki goes for a double leg but Wulf avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wulf continues to drive forward.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wulf fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kanki avoids it really well and circles away.

Kanki lands with a slapping head kick.

Kanki closes the distance and clinches.
Kanki tries to break free but Wulf pushes him back against the cage.

Kanki pulls guard effortlessly.

Kanki is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Kanki stalling in the clinch but Wulf improves position.
Wulf is trying to pull guard but Kanki has him pressed against the cage.

Kanki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wulf circles away from the clinch attempt.

Kanki lands a big head kick that sends Wulf tumbling to the mat! Kanki takes a step backwards and waves Wulf back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Ubougin Wulf has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kanki is defended easily by Wulf.

Kanki misses with a takedown attempt - Wulf sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ubougin Wulf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reino Kanki.
Kanki shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wulf sprawls well. Wulf wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kanki gets slowly back to his feet.

Wulf looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kanki throws a nice looking combination but Wulf bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Wulf postures up in Kanki's guard and throws a big left but Kanki blocks it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kanki gets underhooks to prevent Wulf's takedown attempt.
Kanki has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Ubougin Wulf is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wulf takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Reino Kanki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kanki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wulf. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kanki is looking to stand up but Wulf isn't so interested in that idea.

Wulf postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Wulf drops back looking for a leg! Kanki is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kanki manages to kick Wulf off! Wulf jumps back into Kanki's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Kanki.

Kanki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kanki throws a head kick but Wulf moves out of range.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wulf is defended easily by Kanki.
Wulf takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Kanki has taken the fight to the clinch.

Kanki lands a nice elbow.
Kanki creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Wulf's defenses.
Wulf jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kanki walks away with a smile on his face. Wulf gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kanki clinches up with Wulf and pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kanki lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Kanki creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Wulf's defenses.

Kanki breaks from the clinch.
Kanki looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Kanki backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Wulf's temple! It sends Wulf violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Kanki celebrates and the doctors try to help Wulf!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Reino Kanki!
Reino Kanki decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
