Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matt Crosher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Rice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connor Rice has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Matt Crosher's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Crosher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Connor Rice! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rice misses with a leg kick. Rice throws a low kick but Crosher moves out of range easily. A head kick misses from Rice. A combination from Crosher does no damage. Horrible takedown attempt by Rice or perhaps it was just good defense by Crosher, which made it look bad. Rice tries to clinch but Crosher moves away and Crosher counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Rice is lucky that one didn't land flush. Crosher moves into the clinch. Crosher has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rice uses from the top position. Rice trying to control the position from guard on top but Crosher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crosher being controlled here, momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crosher is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crosher working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rice doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rice manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Rice trying to control but Crosher is working from the bottom. Crosher thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Rice trying to control the position from guard on top but Crosher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Crosher tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rice defends well and Crosher ends up having to push Rice into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Crosher lands a takedown into guard.
Crosher lands a couple of decent looking shots. Rice had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Crosher defends it easily. Rice is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Crosher has his hands clasped together but Rice extends and breaks Crosher's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Rice.
