A fine choice. Aldo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. NELLY HERE COMES THE BOOM kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jar Aldo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ramirez has a takedown stuffed.

Aldo has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ramirez is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Aldo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Ramirez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Aldo sprawls well initially but Ramirez persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Aldo is refusing to be controlled, as Ramirez sits in half guard.
Ramirez looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Aldo is trying to stand up here but Ramirez is controlling him well.

Aldo pushes Ramirez away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ramirez gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
