The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laranja shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dudkov but Dudkov pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Griegorij Dudkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big right from Dudkov misses.
Dudkov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Dudkov looks to throw the jab but Laranja is out of range.
Laranja closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dudkov did well to prevent Laranja getting side control.
Laranja is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dudkov has managed to free his arm - good work.
Laranja moves nicely into side control.
Laranja is trying to get an arm triangle but Dudkov is defending well.
Dudkov holds on to Laranja's head and controls the position momentarily.
Dudkov tries to improve position but can't.
Dudkov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Laranja working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
I wouldn't like to be where Dudkov is right now.

Laranja has an Americana. Dudkov didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Laranja is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Laranja hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Renato Laranja decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
