PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rogerio Cabral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aulis Tyrmaaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aulis Tyrmaaja!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyrmaaja tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cabral manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cabral shoots in looking for a takedown but Tyrmaaja manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cabral's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tyrmaaja is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Cabral throws a head kick but Tyrmaaja moves out of range.
Tyrmaaja keeps Cabral at a distance using the push kick.
Cabral throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tyrmaaja is looking to clinch.

Cabral shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tyrmaaja napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Cabral is looking to take a break and control but Tyrmaaja is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tyrmaaja tries to improve position but can't.
Tyrmaaja wants to control but Cabral postures up.

Tyrmaaja parries the strikes from Cabral easily there. Cabral is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Tyrmaaja to escape.
Cabral throwing strikes but Tyrmaaja manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Cabral is looking to regain half guard here but Tyrmaaja keeps moving and retains side control.
Tyrmaaja lands some shots froms side control.
Cabral sneaks back into half guard.
Cabral has a hand on Tyrmaaja's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Tyrmaaja takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

The referee warns Cabral that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tyrmaaja lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Cabral tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Tyrmaaja lands a big shot there that rocks Cabral but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Cabral is rocked!
Tyrmaaja cracks Cabral with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
