Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chung Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bijiku Daliar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daliar has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Chung Gonzalez has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chung Gonzalez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bijiku Daliar! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gonzalez has a takedown stuffed. Daliar looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Daliar scores with a takedown into Gonzalez's guard. Daliar stopping the sweep attempt from Gonzalez. Daliar would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Gonzalez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Daliar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Gonzalez wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daliar postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gonzalez is on top in guard.
Gonzalez cracks Daliar with a solid left hand. Gonzalez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Daliar works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gonzalez throws an elbow that misses. Daliar uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gonzalez's guard. Nice move by Daliar! Gonzalez doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Daliar won't allow Gonzalez to sweep him here. Gonzalez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Daliar missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gonzalez tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gonzalez looking to control.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Gonzalez shoots in and bounces Daliar off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Daliar is looking to sweep but instead, Gonzalez has passed into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Daliar wants to control but Gonzalez is keeping busy.

Daliar is looking for a sweep. Gonzalez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Daliar keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Gonzalez throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Gonzalez throwing shots but Daliar is blocking nicely.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gonzalez goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Gonzalez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Daliar tries to sprawl but Gonzalez drives through with a takedown into half guard. Gonzalez not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Chung Gonzalez dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Daliar swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gonzalez counters with a shoot takedown. Daliar fights it but they end up in guard. Daliar looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gonzalez is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Daliar can do to turn this around? Gonzalez throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Daliar preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Gonzalez landing some decent shots from guard. Gonzalez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Daliar is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daliar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gonzalez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gonzalez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Daliar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's one minute gone in the round. Gonzalez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Daliar as he jumps to the side. Gonzalez closes the distance and clinches up with Daliar, looking for a takedown. Gonzalez pushes Daliar against the cage but Daliar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gonzalez shoots in looking for a takedown but Daliar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gonzalez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chung Gonzalez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daliar throws a series of punches but Gonzalez avoids them all with ease. Gonzalez fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Gonzalez fails to land the takedown.

Gonzalez shoots in looking for a takedown but Daliar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gonzalez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Daliar stands up from Gonzalez's guard - Daliar perhaps looking for a knockout. Gonzalez takes a kick to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Daliar. Daliar leaves Gonzalez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Gonzalez stuffs the takedown. Gonzalez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Daliar avoids it really well and circles away. Gonzalez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Daliar. Bijiku Daliar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gonzalez shoots in for a takedown but Daliar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Gonzalez shoots in and drives through. Daliar sprawls well. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Daliar. Daliar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gonzalez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Daliar somewhat. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gonzalez. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bijiku Daliar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Daliar tries for a takedown but Gonzalez circles away easily and Gonzalez counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Daliar is lucky that one didn't land flush. Bijiku Daliar seems to be getting the better of the standup. Gonzalez dives in for a single leg takedown but Daliar sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Gonzalez avoiding damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daliar takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Daliar jumps guard but Gonzalez stands there with Daliar around his waist. Daliar gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Gonzalez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Daliar's waist but Daliar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gonzalez off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chung Gonzalez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daliar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Daliar wants it to stay on the feet. Daliar shoots in for a takedown but Gonzalez shows good takedown defense. Daliar defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gonzalez. Nice body kick there by Daliar. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Daliar. Daliar throws a sloppy head kick and Gonzalez moves out of range easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daliar throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gonzalez counters with a straight right hand. Gonzalez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Daliar tries to avoid it but Gonzalez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Daliar to the ground. Daliar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Daliar changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gonzalez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Gonzalez misses with an elbow from the bottom. Gonzalez manages to get back to half guard. Daliar is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gonzalez is just riding it out for now. Daliar eventually gives up the hold. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Daliar is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gonzalez has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daliar looks to land a strike but Gonzalez avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Gonzalez trying to strike off his back.
Daliar throws an elbow that misses. Gonzalez uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Daliar's guard. Nice move by Gonzalez! Gonzalez wants to control from the top but Daliar keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Daliar wants to get back to his feet but Gonzalez is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Gonzalez is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Gonzalez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gonzalez throws a big right hand that misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gonzalez trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Daliar controls Gonzalez momentarily but Gonzalez frees himself.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Bijiku Daliar. I think Daliar has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
