Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lewis Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Issei Sagawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Creed comes to the cage accompanied by Motley Crue - Kickstart My Heart. Sagawa has chosen Herb Alpert - Oriental Eyes as his entrance music. Lewis Creed has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagawa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Creed pinned against the cage. Creed gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Creed fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sagawa.
Creed takes a swing at Sagawa's ribcage but misses.
Creed thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sagawa if he has to take too many more of those.
Creed fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sagawa manages to avoid it.
Lewis Creed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Creed dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sagawa takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Creed connects with a single shot there.
Sagawa shoots in looking for a takedown but Creed manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sagawa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Sagawa drops his hands momentarily and Creed takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Sagawa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Creed won't be happy with that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The ground and pound from Sagawa seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Sagawa connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Creed some visible discomfort.
Creed sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Creed keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Sagawa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Creed manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Sagawa keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Sagawa is looking to control Creed's arms but Creed gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sagawa has his back to the cage.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sagawa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Creed sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sagawa somewhat.

Horrible takedown attempt by Sagawa or perhaps it was just good defense by Creed, which made it look bad.

Creed sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sagawa's guard.
Sagawa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Creed tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sagawa knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Creed tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sagawa is looking for a sweep. Creed is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Creed seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
The crowd cheers as Creed lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sagawa doesn't seem phased though.

Creed throws the kick towards the body but Sagawa avoids it.

Sagawa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Creed but Creed pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Creed stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Creed wants it to stay on the feet.

Creed lands with a hook. Sagawa tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Creed swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Creed lands a big head kick that sends Sagawa tumbling to the mat! Creed takes a step backwards and waves Sagawa back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Creed throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Sagawa is still on wobbly legs! Can Creed finish him?
Issei Sagawa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Creed fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Sagawa square on the jaw! Damn, Sagawa is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

After winning the bout, Lewis Creed thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
