Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carlito Sandalio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sandalio comes to the cage accompanied by World's Greatest. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carlito Sandalio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brad Shaw! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Russell Pearce and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sandalio scoring well with a low kick there.
Shaw throws a poor cross that misses
and Sandalio counters with a stiff right hand. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shaw is defended easily by Sandalio. Sandalio throws a right hand that misses
and Shaw counters with a shoot takedown. Sandalio fights it but they end up in guard. Shaw sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sandalio's guard. Shaw is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Shaw is landing with some decent strikes but Sandalio is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Shaw has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Shaw throwing strikes here but Sandalio is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sandalio is squirming around, avoiding Shaw's attempts to control the action. Shaw throwing strikes here but Sandalio is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw throws a sloppy strike and Sandalio uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Sandalio has ended up in Shaw's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shaw is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Shaw throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Shaw wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sandalio keeps working. Shaw tries to pass to full mount but Sandalio defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sandalio is refusing to be controlled, as Shaw sits in half guard. Shaw is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Shaw missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Shaw is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sandalio sees it coming and defends easily. Shaw is keen to just control but Sandalio is a slippery customer. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sandalio is trying to control but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaw wants to pass to mount but Sandalio is defending the position. Shaw works his foot free and advances to mount. Shaw can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sandalio is looking to escape. Shaw throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Shaw wants to control the pace but Sandalio is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shaw throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Sandalio knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shaw on the ground. Shaw working for a guillotine from mount but Sandalio is in no mood to give up. Shaw can't control as he wanted to and Sandalio manages to get the fight back to his half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Shaw trying to control the action but Sandalio is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brad Shaw dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Shaw feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sandalios jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Shaw fails in his attempt to clinch. Shaw keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sandalio misses with a straight right. Shaw throws a chopping leg kick but Sandalio manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Shaw shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sandalio manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Shaw trying to control the position from guard on top but Sandalio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shaw has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sandalio is keeping the position for now. Sandalio keeping moving, preventing Shaw from controlling successfully. Shaw advances to half guard. Shaw wants to take a breather but Sandalio is having none of it. Shaw is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Sandalio is in trouble now - Shaw has advanced to mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shaw wants to control the action but instead Sandalio gets a body lock and reverses into Shaw's guard! Nice work! Shaw trying to control the position.
Sandalio trying to control but Shaw is working from the bottom. Shaw has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Sandalio doesn't defend quickly enough and Shaw has managed to lock this one up! Can Sandalio escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Shaw on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Brad Shaw! In his post fight interview, Brad Shaw started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
