Kalashnikov comes to the cage accompanied by Leningrad Cowboys - Those Were The Days . Schroeder has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalashnikov cracks Schroeder with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The fighters circling - Kalashnikov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kalashnikov throws a hook to the side of Schroeder's head but Schroeder sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kalashnikov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Schroeder on the side of the head.
Schroeder looks to land a left hand but Kalashnikov moved out of range nicely.
Kalashnikov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kalashnikov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Schroeder swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Kalashnikov counters with a nice right hand that sends Schroeder toppling to the canvas! Schroeder scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kalashnikov finish him?!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Schroeder is still on wobbly legs! Can Kalashnikov finish him?
Kalashnikov pounces like a tiger and cracks Schroeder with a vicious hook! Schroeder is down but not out! Kalashnikov follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

A relieved looking Vadim Kalashnikov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
