Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sabian Sabes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bojan Vladislav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sabes comes into the arena with Army of Darkness blaring out of the sound system. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sabes jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A shot to the body from Sabes misses
and Vladislav counters with a three punch combo that has Sabes backing up. Sabes nods at Vladislav to acknowledge the strikes.
Sabes throws out a loose jab but Vladislav uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sabes connects with a body shot that sends Vladislav's belly button to the back.
We've been told by Sabes's head coaches at Farrell Pikey Camp that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sabes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

A looping hook to the body misses from Vladislav. Sabes does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Vladislav counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Vladislav stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sabes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Vladislav stays in close to Sabes's body and controls the position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

That was a close round but I would say that Sabian Sabes will probably get the nod.

and Vladislav counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sabes thinking.

Bojan Vladislav showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Vladislav cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Vladislav has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sabes finds it's way round the side to connect with Vladislav's head.

Vladislav walks into a stiff left hand from Sabes.
Sabes misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Vladislav.
Vladislav walks straight into a right hand from Sabes - that's dropped him! Sabes jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Vladislav from any more punishment! Vladislav complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
