Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Christian Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emilio EsteveZ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drake kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Travis Porter - All the Way Turnt Up. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drake throws a quick inside leg kick. EsteveZ fails with an attempt to clinch.
EsteveZ throws a right hand that Drake ducks under and follows up with a left that Drake also avoids with ease. EsteveZ tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Some wild striking there from EsteveZ.
EsteveZ throws a series of punches but Drake moves out of range. EsteveZ tries for a takedown but Drake sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Drake avoids a punch combination nicely.
Drake ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drake walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. EsteveZ looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. No luck for EsteveZ with that takedown attempt. EsteveZ looks to throw the jab but Drake is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. EsteveZ misses with a two punch combination.
EsteveZ misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Drake scores a takedown into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. EsteveZ is bucking up trying to escape but Drake cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Drake is landing with some decent strikes but EsteveZ is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Drake controlling the pace for now. Drake has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of EsteveZ's face.
Drake tries to control but EsteveZ wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. EsteveZ is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
EsteveZ wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Drake.
Drake lands a nice shot to the head. Drake controlling his opponent. Drake looking to secure an arm triangle but EsteveZ defends it well. Drake throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drake trying to control but he's not successful this time. EsteveZ swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. EsteveZ is looking to get to half guard. Drake blocks EsteveZ's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Drake looking to control but EsteveZ is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Drake controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Drake's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Drake with the ground and pound from mount. Drake looking to control but EsteveZ is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. EsteveZ is desperately trying to improve his position but Drake has a good base and remains in mount. EsteveZ wants to control but Drake is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christian Drake dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
EsteveZ misses with a few strikes there.
A punch combination from EsteveZ misses. EsteveZ tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Drake keeps the fight on the outside. Drake closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Drake is looking to take a break and control but EsteveZ is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. EsteveZ looking for a sweep but Drake has passed into full mount! Oh no!
That's one minute gone in the round. Drake is working for a guillotine from mount but EsteveZ frees his head quite easily.
EsteveZ regains half guard. EsteveZ is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Drake pulls his head out easily. EsteveZ is not content to let Drake control the position. EsteveZ is defending against the submission attempts here by Drake.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. EsteveZ is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Drake's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Drake's back! EsteveZ avoiding Drake 's attempts to control his hands. EsteveZ softening up his opponent with strikes here.
EsteveZ looking for the choke but no joy. Drake trying to control the hands but EsteveZ won't let him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. EsteveZ looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
EsteveZ is trying to stick to Drake's back but Drake is turning into EsteveZ. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in EsteveZ's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Drake. EsteveZ has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. EsteveZ working for a triangle but Drake defends it easily.
EsteveZ is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. EsteveZ has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Drake can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Drake connects with a couple of short punches. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Drake is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. EsteveZ utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Emilio EsteveZ will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
EsteveZ misses with a takedown attempt and Drake counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. EsteveZ doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
EsteveZ keeping moving, preventing Drake from controlling successfully. Drake controls the pace of the fight for a moment. EsteveZ has an active guard here but Drake has managed to pass into half guard.
Christian Drake overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. EsteveZ trying to control but Drake postures up.
Drake is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and EsteveZ defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drake controlling the pace. EsteveZ takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Drake seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down EsteveZ for as long as he can get away with. Drake trying to control the action but EsteveZ is working from the bottom. Drake winds up and cracks EsteveZ with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Drake is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and EsteveZ defends it well. Drake is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Christian Drake just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Drake dodges the punch combination from EsteveZ.
EsteveZ tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Drake counters with a nice double leg into half guard. EsteveZ wants to control but Drake is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. EsteveZ wants to control the action here but instead Drake manages to pass to full mount! Drake is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but EsteveZ is surviving well by controlling Drake's body position as best he can. EsteveZ is in all sorts of trouble here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. EsteveZ manages to regain half guard. Good work. Drake missing with the ground and pound from half guard. EsteveZ has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Drake. Oh but EsteveZ has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Drake goes limp - he's gone! EsteveZ jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
