Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perus Jamppa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacoby Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a wild body kick that Jamppa sees coming a mile off.
Jones throws a right hand that misses

and Jamppa counters with a head kick that drops Jones to the mat! Jones scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
A punch combination from Jones misses.
Jones misses with a body kick.
Jones lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Jones misses with a head kick.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jamppa as he avoids it easily.
Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jamppa on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones avoids the head kick by Jamppa.
Jones throws a series of punches but Jamppa avoids them all with ease.
Jamppa slips a straight right by Jones.
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jamppa tries to land a front kick but Jones steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Sloppy strikes from Jones. Those never looked like landing.

Jamppa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jamppa keeps Jones at a distance using the push kick.
Jones takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Jones avoids a kick to the body.
Jamppa is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
Jones throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Jones dives in and grabs Jamppa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jamppa pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
Perus Jamppa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacoby Jones.
Jones throws a series of punches but Jamppa avoids them all with ease.
