Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyrone misses with a two punch combination.
Tyrone closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mercado did well to prevent Tyrone getting side control.
Tyrone is looking to take a break and control but Mercado is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Mercado wants to control but Tyrone is keeping busy.
Mercado is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tyrone's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tyrone's back!
Mercado lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Tyrone throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mercado tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tyrone is in Mercado's guard.

Mercado has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tyrone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tyrone throws a strike but Mercado rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Well Tyrone has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
