Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jayson Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mik Socram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jayson Frank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mik Socram!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Socram tests Frank's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Socram is defended easily by Frank.
Frank goes for a double leg but Socram avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Socram continues to drive forward.
Frank lands a body shot in the clinch.
Frank misses with an elbow over the top.

Frank manages to break the clinch.
Frank checks a leg kick nicely.
Socram dives in for a single leg takedown but Frank sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Frank escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Frank closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Socram to the mat! Socram manages to get full guard.

Socram really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Frank. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Jayson Frank will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Frank decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Frank gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Frank has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Socram finds it's way round the side to connect with Frank's head.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Good leg kick by Socram there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Mik Socram seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

I would just about give that final round to Mik Socram.
