Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Lamb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Speight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Lamb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Speight! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lamb throws a body punch but Speight moves out of range. Lamb tries a head kick but it misses.
Lamb looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Speight looks like he's trying to stand up.
Lamb trying to control from half guard but Speight is working away. Lamb with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Lamb is trying to control. Speight wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Speight looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Speight is trying to stand up here but Lamb is controlling him well. Lamb wants to take a breather but Speight is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lamb is really struggling to control Speight but he's trying to hold on to the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lamb wants to pass to mount but Speight is defending the position. Lamb performing his best blanket impression for a moment. We've been hearing good reports from Lamb's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Lamb uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Speight. Lamb tries to close the distance and clinch up but Speight swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lamb tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Speight was well out of range. Poor timing from Lamb. Lamb darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Speight wants to get back to his feet.

Lamb trying to control the position from guard on top but Speight is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Speight is looking to stand up but Lamb isn't so interested in that idea. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Lamb wants to control from the top but Speight keeps moving. Speight is looking to stand up but Lamb isn't so interested in that idea. Lamb trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Speight wants to stand and escape but Lamb is having none of it. Speight really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lamb. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Speight wants to stand and escape but Lamb is having none of it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. A combination from Speight does no damage. Lamb shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Speight as he jumps to the side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Speight ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Speight blocks a jab. Speight throws a series of punches but Lamb avoids them all with ease. Speight wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. David Speight is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lamb throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Lamb is pressed up against the cage. Speight has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lamb down to the mat. Lamb avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Lamb is looking to wear down Speight with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Lamb avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lamb shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Speight is trying to defend but Lamb finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Lamb is looking to advance position but Speight won't allow it. Lamb wants to take a breather but Speight is having none of it. Lamb works his way into side control. Lamb throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Speight's waist but Speight gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lamb off to one side.

Lamb tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Speight swivels and escapes. David Speight seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lamb ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Speight moves away. Lamb fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lamb throws a body shot but no joy. Lamb tries to clinch and Speight counters with a three punch combo that has Lamb backing up. Lamb nods at Speight to acknowledge the strikes. Lamb throws an off balance right hand
and Speight counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Speight scores with a sloppy right hand. Lamb should have avoided that one.

Speight has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Speight blocks a head kick by Lamb.

Josh Lamb's cut is getting worse. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Speight swings widly with a right hand
and Lamb counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lamb. Lamb might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Speight is looking to stand up but Lamb isn't so interested in that idea. Josh Lamb overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lamb stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Speight swivels though and keeps the full guard. Speight is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Lamb trying to control but Speight is working from the bottom. Speight is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
And that's the end of the fight! David Speight comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Speight has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
