Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Sword (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benisato Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for David Sword has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sword tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rage paws at him with a jab and circles away. Rage closes the distance and clinches up with Sword, looking for a takedown. Rage pushes Sword against the cage but Sword circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sword lands a head kick. Rage smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Rage will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rage is looking to clinch. Rage shoots in for a takedown but Sword shows good takedown defense. David Sword has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benisato Rage. Rage shoots in and drives through. Sword sprawls well. Sword has managed to clinch.
Rage breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rage tries to keep at a distance but Sword has taken the fight into the clinch. Sword tries to pull guard but Rage holds him up against the cage and eventually Sword drops back down to his feet.

Rage taking a breather. Sword keeps control of Rage as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Rage has had enough of the clinch but Sword keeps him there for the moment. Sword jumps guard but Rage stands there with Sword around his waist. Sword gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sword escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sword looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Rage! Rage is squirming around, avoiding Sword's attempts to control the action. Sword throws some wild stikes that Rage manages to avoid easily.
Sword avoids the attempt from Rage to control. Sword trying to control but Rage is having none of it. Rage is trying to escape the mount.
Sword trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sword controlling his opponent. Sword lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Sword misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Sword is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rage can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Sword tries to push Rage's head away but Rage is holding on tight. Rage wants to control but Sword is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rage is desperately trying to improve his position but Sword has a good base and remains in mount. Rage looks gassed! Rage wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Sword.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rage is working to get back to half guard.
Sword looking to control but Rage is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sword thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Sword wants to control but Rage has made it back to half guard. Nice work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sword wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rage keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Sword dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sword will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sword bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Sword with the ground and pound but Rage regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Rage is pressing down on Sword's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Rage is trying to keep Sword in close.
Sword with a flurry of punches that miss. Sword knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rage on the ground. Rage controlling the position. Rage will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rage is breathing heavily. Sword trying to control the position from guard on top but Rage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sword looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rage is trying to keep Sword in close.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Rage wants to clinch and Sword counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sword. Sword unloads a knee to the mid-section. Rage lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Sword is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sword stalling the fight.

Sword avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sword looking for a sweep. Not yet Sword, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sword working a defensive guard here.
Rage trying to control the position from guard on top but Sword is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sword not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sword darts in trying to clinch and Rage counters with a single leg into guard. Sword didn't expect that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rage wants to control from the top but Sword keeps moving. Sword wants to stand but Rage is controlling the position. Rage trying to control the position from guard on top but Sword is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rage stops Sword from standing up. Sword working for a triangle but Rage defends it easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sword throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Sword tries for a takedown but Rage sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Rage looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Rage stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Rage gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sword counters with a straight punch to the midsection. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Benisato Rage showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

That could mean trouble for Sword! Rage is in the full mount, landing strikes. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rage scoring with strikes but Sword is staying in there. Rage prevents Sword from getting the reversal. Sword is in a horrible position here. Rage smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sword wants to control but Rage is having none of it. Rage controlling from mount. Rage prevents Sword from getting the reversal. Rage lands a big elbow. Rage trying to control but Sword is having none of it. Rage working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rage jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sword is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sword and Rage has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Sword on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sword tries to get out of the position. Sword is trying to control Rage's posture but Rage avoids it. Rage stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sword rushes Rage and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Sword tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rage just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Sword. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sword tries to score a body lock takedown but Rage shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Rage wants to stall.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Sword fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Sword is trying to break free. Sword digs a right hand into Rage's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Rage's gas tank. Sword tries for a takedown. No joy.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rage lands a hook to the side of the head. Rage is trying to break free. Sword tries to land knees in the clinch but Rage avoids the damage to the body. Rage is trying to stall.
Sword is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rage pulls him back up using the underhooks. Sword breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rage misses with a kick to the body and Sword counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rage's guard now. Rage manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Sword has closed the distance and engaged Rage in a clinch.
Rage pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sword looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sword tries to stand but Rage is controlling from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Benisato Rage. I think Rage has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
