Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Baha Beison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Baha Beison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jay Tyler! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyler connects with a right hand. Beison shakes it off. Tyler stuffs the takedown. Beison with a poor takedown and Tyler counters with a lovely shot to the body. A jab from Tyler finds it's way through Beison's defenses. Nice shot lands for Tyler. Beison avoids the body shot from Tyler.
Beison wants to land a leg kick but Tyler is out of range. Good exchange - Tyler coming out on top. Tyler misses with a left hand and Beison counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tyler won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Beison is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tyler knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Tyler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beison. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Beison wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tyler, who protects the arm well. Tyler pushes Beison away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Beison gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Tyler felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beison goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Tyler has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Beison but great work by Tyler. Beison tries to buck Tyler off but Tyler is having none of it. Beison gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Tyler is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like Tyler is going to stand back up.

Tyler is looking to stand up but Beison won't let him. Tyler postures up and lands a big shot to Beison's brow. Beison has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tyler can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Tyler wants to stand but Beison has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyler throws a big elbow that misses. Beison has a closed guard, preventing Tyler from standing up. Beison had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tyler defends it easily. Beison working a defensive guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Beison had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tyler defends it easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tyler wants to stand but Beison is controlling his posture from full guard. Beison has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Tyler should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Beison has tightened it up now! Tyler should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Baha Beison! After winning the bout, Baha Beison thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
