Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rudy Pu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohamed Hassan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Rudy Pu has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rudy Pu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Mohamed Hassan! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pu throws a combination. Hassan tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Mohamed Hassan has been cut. Pu tests Hassan's chin there with a solid looking shot. Pu lands with a nice body punch. Rudy Pu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hassan. Hassan wants to clinch up but Pu keeps it at a distance. Pu lands a head shot. Pu lands a head shot. Pu lands a jab to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hassan closes the distance and clinches up with Pu, looking for a takedown. Hassan pushes Pu against the cage but Pu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hassan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pu is fending him off so far but Hassan persists. Nope, Pu circles away and we're back to standing. Excellent takedown into side control there by Hassan. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. You can see the frustration on Pu's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Pu is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pu is pushing Hassan's head away, looking to escape. Hassan manages to hold on to the position though. Hassan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Hassan wants to stand but Pu has his arm trapped. Pu is trying to improve his position. Hassan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hassan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Pu tries to escape but Hassan is in control. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Hassan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pu, who protects the arm well. Pu is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hassan wants to stand but Pu is controlling his arm.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Pu lands a really nice looking cross but Hassan seems unphased.
Pu connects with a body shot that sends Hassan's belly button to the back. Pu lands a head shot. Hassan ducks straight into an uppercut from Pu and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Hassan manages to regain guard straight away.
Hassan is rocked! Pu sitting in guard, not really doing much. Hassan is working an open guard so Pu takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Pu grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Hassan takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Pu cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rudy Pu! Rudy Pu gave a mention to Soul Supremacy Nutrition (90% laundry) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
