Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tracy Powell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noel Marcos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tracy Powell has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tracy Powell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Noel Marcos! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marcos moves out of range of the body kick. Nice straight punches there by Marcos. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Marcos. Powell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Powell takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Marcos dips to his left and cracks Powell with an uppercut! Powell checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Marcos looking to score a takedown here. Powell is defending well but Marcos drives through and ends up in Powell's guard. Powell not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Powell seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Powell pushes Marcos off and gets back to his feet.
Noel Marcos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Powell drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marcos's jab looks to have found its range, popping Powell under the eye. Marcos throws a right hand that Powell ducks under and follows up with a left that Powell also avoids with ease. Marcos moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Powell checks a leg kick. Marcos with a nice cross. Marcos fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Marcos misses with a series of wild punches.
Marcos shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Marcos showed some decent athleticism there. Marcos looks winded! It looks like Marcos is going to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Powell is trying to control but can't.
Powell slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Powell manages to escape and get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Powell on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Marcos throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Powell looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Powell walks into a straight right hand from Marcos. Powell blocks a jab. Nice takedown defense from Marcos. No joy for Powell on that attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marcos throws a sloppy head kick and Powell moves out of range easily. Powell is looking to land body kicks. Powell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Marcos throws the left hand but Powell avoids the punch easily. Marcos misses with a hook
and Powell counters with a takedown into side control. We've been informed that Marcos has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Powell misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Powell tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Powell has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Powell decides to stand up, so the ref orders Marcos to his feet. A punch combination from Powell misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Powell looks for the body kick but Marcos saw that one coming. Powell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Marcos is fending him off so far but Powell persists. Nope, Marcos circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tracy Powell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Marcos uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Powell pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Marcos scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Marcos is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Powell's half guard. Powell manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Marcos keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Marcos avoiding damage as Powell throws knees to the body.
Powell misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Marcos.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Noel Marcos dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Marcos lands a lovely overhand right. Powell gets caught napping as Marcos dives in and scores a takedown. Powell manages to retain guard. Powell pulls Marcos in close to his closed guard and prevents Marcos from doing any damage or advancing position. Marcos postures up.
Powell pushes Marcos off and scrambles back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Marcos lands with an overhand left. Marcos throws a right hand that misses
and Powell counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Marcos is in trouble now - Powell has advanced to mount! Marcos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Powell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Marcos is breathing heavily. Powell can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Marcos is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Powell throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Powell lands a big elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Powell looking to finish with strikes here!
Powell controlling from mount. Marcos tries to reverse the position but Powell maintains control. Powell looking to secure an arm triangle but Marcos defends it well. Powell misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Powell punching from mount but Marcos doing a good job of avoiding damage. Powell throwing strikes here but Marcos is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Powell breaks from Marcos's wrist control and lands an elbow. Powell throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Marcos is squirming around, avoiding Powell's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Powell takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Marcos holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Powell tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Marcos really wants to buck Powell off and get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The referee warns Marcos that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Powell looking to ground and pound but Marcos is blocking nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tracy Powell dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
No joy there for Marcos, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Powell shoots in and drives through. Marcos sprawls well. Marcos bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Powell's head. Marcos closes the distance and clinches. Marcos being controlled against the cage. Marcos blocks an elbow strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Powell prevents Marcos from breaking the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Powell taking a breather. Marcos wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Powell goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Marcos is trying to break the clinch but Powell is controlling him. Marcos blocking some punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Powell keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Marcos's efforts to push away. Powell avoiding damage.
Marcos wants to break free but Powell has control.
Powell pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marcos is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Marcos can't break the clinch.
Powell has Marcos pressed against the cage.
Marcos looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Powell stalling in the clinch.
Marcos wants to break free but Powell has control.
Come on Powell - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Tracy Powell. Marcos misses with the combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The fight moves into the clinch position. Powell tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Marcos's elbow. Powell missing with knees to the body.
Marcos avoids a wild elbow strike from Powell. Marcos wants to get back to striking at distance but Powell won't allow it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Powell misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Powell tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Marcos avoids it.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tracy Powell. I think Powell has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
