Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Ryuu Tatsuya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tatsuya comes to the ring accompanied by DBZ. The crowd seem to be enjoying Robinson's choice of entrance music: Lost In Space. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryuu Tatsuya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Will Robinson! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robinson misses with the combination.
Tatsuya keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Robinson. The fight moves into the clinch position. Tatsuya lands a knee to the head.
Robinson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tatsuya is defending well for now. Tatsuya misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Robinson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Tatsuya is trying to maintain a safe position but Robinson gets an underhook and turns Tatsuya into the ropes. Tatsuya misses with a knee to the head. Tatsuya lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Tatsuya throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Robinson is trying to push Tatsuya away but Tatsuya has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Robinson is trying to force a seperation but Tatsuya has the dominant position. Robinson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Tatsuya lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Tatsuya is trying to maintain a safe position but Robinson gets an underhook and turns Tatsuya into the ropes.

Robinson throws a punch but it's blocked by Tatsuya. Robinson is trying to break the clinch but Tatsuya has him pressed against the ropes. Tatsuya blocks the elbow strike.

Robinson tries to clinch up. Tatsuya looks to throw the jab but Robinson is out of range. Robinson throws a hook but Tatsuya blocks it. Tatsuya finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Tatsuya clinches up with Robinson and pushes him back against the ropes. A right handed body shot lands from Tatsuya.
Tatsuya tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Robinson avoids it. Tatsuya is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Tatsuya missing with knees to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tatsuya lands an elbow inside that Robinson shrugs off. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Tatsuya throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Robinson blocks it with crossed arms. Tatsuya creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. The referee is keeping an eye on Tatsuya - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Robinson wants to clinch. Robinson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Tatsuya pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tatsuya looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A chopping leg kick lands by Tatsuya. Tatsuya clinches with his opponent.

Tatsuya is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Robinson can do to turn this around? Robinson pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes. Robinson is trying to force a seperation but Tatsuya has the dominant position. Tatsuya lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robinson misses with a punch on the inside.

Ryuu Tatsuya dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A head kick from Tatsuya lands but Robinson takes it in his stride. A chopping leg kick lands by Tatsuya. A swing and a miss from Robinson. Robinson thuds his right hand into Tatsuya's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A decent looking body kick lands there for Tatsuya. Will Robinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Robinson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Robinson misses the jab. Tatsuya fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Robinson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Tatsuya tries a head kick but it misses.
Will Robinson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Robinson misses with a few strikes there.
Robinson tries to clinch up but Tatsuya circles away and keeps his distance. Robinson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Tatsuya moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fight stays on the outside here - Tatsuya looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sloppy strikes from Robinson. Those never looked like landing. Robinson circles away from the clinch attempt.

Tatsuya tries to clinch but Robinson is having none of it. Tatsuya lands with a kick to the temple. Robinson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Tatsuya lands with a nice combination. Robinson backs away looking to recover.
Robinson is rocked! Tatsuya tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Robinson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Robinson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Tatsuya cracks Robinson with a right hand to the side of the head. Robinson is still on wobbly legs! Can Tatsuya finish him? Robinson takes the fight into the clinch. Robinson seems to have recovered his senses. Tatsuya creates a bit of space and cracks Robinson with an uppercut that drops him to the canvas! Robinson is wobbled and seems to be struggling to get back to his feet. 3,4,5. He's up! Phew, his manager will be relieved but they're no doubt wondering whether he'll be able to recover properly and get back in the fight! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tatsuya takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Tatsuya lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tatsuya staggers Robinson with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Robinson looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! No! He's back down again! 9...10 - he's can't beat the count and Tatsuya is victorious!
