Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Battle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daegan De Vos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Anderson Battle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Daegan De Vos! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Vos throws a head kick that misses and Battle counters by moving into the clinch. Battle tries to pull guard but De Vos forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Battle tries to circle away but De Vos has him pinned against the cage. De Vos with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
De Vos successfully pulls guard.
De Vos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Battle manages to get himself to full guard.
De Vos working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Battle keeping moving, preventing De Vos from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Vos passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Battle wants to get back to full guard but De Vos has passed into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Vos takes a little break here. Battle wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. De Vos wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Battle, who protects the arm well. De Vos decides to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Battle shoots in for a double leg but De Vos sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. De Vos moves into range and clinches up with Battle. De Vos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. De Vos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Battle did well to prevent De Vos getting side control. De Vos controlling the pace. Battle throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Battle trying to get back to full guard but De Vos takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! De Vos goes for an armbar but Battle turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Battle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Vos manages to escape and get back to his feet.
De Vos decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Battle wants to improve his position but De Vos is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. De Vos is trying to control the action in half guard but Battle is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Battle kicks off De Vos and gets to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. De Vos clinches up with Battle and pushes him back against the cage. Battle tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. De Vos smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Battle. That's going to take a lot out of him. De Vos gets a takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daegan De Vos dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
De Vos throws a leg kick which misses Battle's front leg but catches the back leg as Battle tries to avoid it. Battle gets caught flat footed, as De Vos shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. De Vos avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
De Vos sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Battle's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Vos controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Battle keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Daegan De Vos has got the better of the ground game so far. Battle pushes De Vos off looking to stand but De Vos dives back in and keeps control.
Battle has hold of De Vos's hands but De Vos slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. De Vos keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. De Vos missing with the ground and pound from half guard. De Vos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Battle does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. De Vos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. De Vos throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. De Vos trying to mount his opponent but Battle defends it. Battle keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Battle tries to get to full guard but De Vos has control of the leg. Battle is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but De Vos pulls his head out easily. De Vos keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. De Vos stops Battle from getting back to his feet.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. De Vos scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. De Vos is working for a kimura but Battle is defending it quite comfortably.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Battle avoiding damage under a succession of punches from De Vos. De Vos stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Battle to get to his feet. De Vos changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Battle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! An elbow from De Vos crashes against the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daegan De Vos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
De Vos fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Battle has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Battle avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Anderson Battle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Battle is looking to clinch but De Vos is avoiding it.
De Vos tries to clinch up but Battle circles away and keeps his distance. Daegan De Vos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. De Vos throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. De Vos scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Vos wants to control but Battle is keeping him busy. De Vos goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Battle rolls with the submission and now he's on top in De Vos's guard! Nice work there by Battle!
That's one minute gone in the round. Battle is looking to work some ground and pound but De Vos has wrist control. De Vos has a closed guard, preventing Battle from standing up. Battle trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. De Vos is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Battle wants to stand and escape but instead De Vos has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Battle keeping moving, preventing De Vos from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. De Vos throws a big elbow that misses. De Vos is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. De Vos passes easily into side control. Nice work. De Vos has been the more effective fighter overall so far. De Vos is trying to ground and pound but Battle uses the momentary lack of control by De Vos to regain half guard. De Vos thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Vos wants to pass to mount but Battle is defending the position. Battle keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. De Vos performing his best blanket impression for a moment. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. De Vos is pressing down on Battle's thigh, looking to free his foot. Battle is holding on for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. De Vos clinches up against the cage. De Vos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A momentary lapse in concentration from Battle enables De Vos to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Battle manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Battle wants to stand but De Vos is controlling the position. De Vos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! De Vos stopping the sweep attempt from Battle.
And that's the end of the fight! Daegan De Vos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well De Vos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
