Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Druff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Druff has chosen Awol Nation - Sail as his entrance music. Dan Druff acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 33 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Bear!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Dan Druff!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Druff shoots in for a takedown but Bear shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Druff gets tackled into the cage by Bear. Bear maintains the clinch.

Bear is trying to trip Druff. He has hold of a leg but Druff is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bear persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Bear trying to control but Druff is working from the bottom.
Bear not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Bear trying to control the position from guard on top but Druff is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bear controlling from the top position.
Our spies down at at McGarrys plant works inform us that Druff has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Bear trying to control but Druff is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bear engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Bear shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bear showed some decent athleticism there.

Bear is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Druff defends it well.
Bear is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Druff is trying to maintain the position but Bear is very close to passing his half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bear wants to control but Druff is keeping him busy.
Bear working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Druff's thigh. Druff counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Druff wants to sweep here but Bear controlling him for the moment.
Bear works over Druff with some ground and pound from guard.
Bear slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Bear is trying to get an arm triangle but Druff is defending well.
Bear will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bear decides to stand back up. Bear steps back and let's Druff get back to his feet.
We've been told by Bear's head coaches at London MMA Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Bear shoots in and gets a takedown into Druff's guard.
Druff can't keep his opponent in guard - Bear advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Bear seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Druff does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Druff is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bear scores with a couple of nice shots.
Bear moves nicely into side control.
Bear is looking to take a break and control but Druff is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Bear tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bear has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bear decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Bear closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Druff did well to prevent Bear getting side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bear has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bear controlling from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Max Bear dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Dan Druff's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Bear looking to score a takedown here. Druff is defending well but Bear drives through and ends up in Druff's guard.

Max Bear overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Druff is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bear trying to control but Druff is working from the bottom.
Bear postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.


That has opened up Dan Druff's cut even more.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Druff lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bear is on top in guard.

Dan Druff's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dan Druff's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Max Bear!
A relieved looking Max Bear thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
