Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Diotte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is LIVING IN AMERICA BY JAMES BROWN. Diotte has chosen Cypress Hill - I Want 2 Get High as his entrance music. Andrew Diotte has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diotte keeps the fight on the outside.
Jackson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Jackson swings for the body but Diotte moves out of range.
Diotte blocks a head kick by Jackson.
Jackson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Diotte counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Diotte lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Apollo Jackson has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jackson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Diotte.
Diotte fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jackson.

Diotte bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jackson's guard.

Diotte got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Diotte has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Apollo Jackson will probably get the nod.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Diotte switches off momentarily and Jackson cracks him with a monster right hand! Diotte topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Jackson dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Jackson!
