Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mohamed al Hadj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Fall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). He arrived on a last minute flight shortly after looking tired and unhappy. Officials decided the fight should still take place, much to the delight of the fans in attendance. Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mohamed al Hadj and Jack Fall. al Hadj comes to the cage accompanied by Hypnotized Lebanon. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mohamed al Hadj! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Fall! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! al Hadj blocks a jab. Fall throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fall goes for a double leg but al Hadj avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as al Hadj continues to drive forward. al Hadj throws a quick counter head kick but Fall was just out of range. Jack Fall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
al Hadj throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fall shoots in looking for a takedown but al Hadj manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fall's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Fall takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
al Hadj moves out of range as Fall strikes. al Hadj ducks right into an uppercut from Fall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. al Hadj connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fall momentarily.
Fall looks to land a left hand but al Hadj moved out of range nicely. It looked like al Hadj was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Fall takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fall fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. al Hadj just misses with a punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fall keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fall tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. al Hadj walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Mohamed al Hadj has been cut. Fall smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. al Hadj is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fall moves forwards but al Hadj connects with a nice, crisp jab. Fall lands a jab to the head.
A combination from al Hadj does no damage. al Hadj staying out of range there. al Hadj quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. al Hadj throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. al Hadj with a body punch. A glancing blow. A head kick misses from Fall. al Hadj swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Fall throws a looping overhand right but al Hadj ducks down to avoid it. al Hadj with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

and al Hadj counters with a nice uppercut. Fall looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mohamed al Hadj has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Fall. Fall drops his hands momentarily and al Hadj takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. al Hadj shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. al Hadj slips a straight right by Fall. al Hadj looks to score with a jab to the body but Fall is just out of range. Fall looks to land a left hand but al Hadj moved out of range nicely. al Hadj slips under a jab. Fall misses with a wild combination.
al Hadj turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Fall blocks a jab. Fall connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed al Hadj momentarily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fall connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between al Hadj's hands. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Fall!

A low kick from Fall is predictable there and al Hadj makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. al Hadj misses with a kick to the body.
al Hadj thumps Fall with a low kick. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fall ducks under a wild hook from al Hadj. Fall fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. al Hadj tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mohamed al Hadj will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Mohamed al Hadj's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Fall scores with the left hand. al Hadj knows he should have avoided that one. al Hadj leaves Fall with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fall goes for a double leg but al Hadj avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as al Hadj continues to drive forward. No joy there for Fall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fall is looking to control al Hadj's arms but al Hadj gets an underhook and turns him. Now Fall has his back to the cage. Our sources have told us that al Hadj has been working on his elbows in the gym. al Hadj lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Jack Fall has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fall wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Is there anything that Fall can do to turn this around? al Hadj lands an elbow inside that Fall shrugs off. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A body shot lands from al Hadj.

Jab, jab by al Hadj - just one landing. A head kick from al Hadj lands but Fall takes it in his stride. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from al Hadj. Fall shrugs it off though. al Hadj is looking to wear down Fall with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Fall takes a shot right to the bread basket. al Hadj throws a nice inside leg kick. al Hadj avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! al Hadj moves in looking to clinch but Fall pushes him off. That kick from al Hadj tenderised Fall's leg. Fall is trying to keep his angry face on. Fall blocks a head kick by al Hadj.

Fall lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but al Hadj circles away quickly and effectively. al Hadj takes a swing at Fall's ribcage but misses. al Hadj slips a jab from Fall. al Hadj thinks about countering with a body kick. al Hadj tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fall was well out of range. Poor timing from al Hadj. al Hadj takes a swing at Fall's ribcage but misses. Fall changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Fall lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Mohamed al Hadj dominated that second round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Fall shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. al Hadj controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. al Hadj is trying to maintain the position but Fall is very close to passing his half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fall is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fall missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Fall throwing shots but al Hadj is blocking nicely. Fall has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. al Hadj slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Fall missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. al Hadj is trying to keep Fall in close.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fall fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. The fight stays on the outside here - al Hadj looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Fall goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. al Hadj tries to clinch but Fall moves out of range. al Hadj thumps Fall with a low kick. al Hadj looks to throw the jab but Fall is out of range. Fall drops down looking to force a counter takedown but al Hadj defends it well. al Hadj scores with a kick to the body.

al Hadj throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fall stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Fall misses the jab. al Hadj throws a big counter combination but Fall scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Fall takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fall has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from al Hadj finds it's way round the side to connect with Fall's head. Fall slips a jab and a cross from al Hadj.
Fall shoots for a takedown but al Hadj saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Fall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. al Hadj scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Fall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fall's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Fall scores with a body shot.
al Hadj tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. al Hadj getting the better of the striking in that exchange. al Hadj thows a body kick. Fall tries to catch it but that hurt him. al Hadj takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Jack Fall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! al Hadj lands with a kick to the ribs.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mohamed al Hadj. Well I reckon that's a shut out for al Hadj, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
