Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hilmar Halldorsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiro Tsanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hilmar Halldorsson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hiro Tsanaka! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tsanaka tries to clinch up. Halldorsson tries to counter with a takedown but Tsanaka is quick to defend against it. Halldorsson looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Halldorsson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tsanaka is keeping the position for now. Tsanaka wants to stand but Halldorsson is controlling the position. Halldorsson controls from within his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Halldorsson forces his way into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Halldorsson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Tsanaka actively working from the bottom here. Halldorsson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Halldorsson is working for a submission of some sort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Halldorsson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Halldorsson is trying to control. Tsanaka wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Halldorsson looking for a submission but Tsanaka manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
We've been informed that Tsanaka has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Halldorsson content to stall in guard here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tsanaka looking for subs off his back but Halldorsson has passed one foot through into half guard.

Halldorsson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Halldorsson changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Tsanaka throws a body punch but Halldorsson moves out of range. Halldorsson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Halldorsson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Halldorsson controls the position. Halldorsson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tsanaka has escaped the position, nice work there. Halldorsson happy to just control the position for now. The referee asks Halldorsson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Halldorsson prefers to stall for the moment though. OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Tsanaka is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Halldorsson!
