Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Noonan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miami Vice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noonan comes to the cage accompanied by 3DD - Kryptonite. Vice has chosen The Theme as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Noonan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miami Vice! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vice's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Noonan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vice scrambles back to his feet. Vice misses with a jab to the body
and Noonan makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Vice throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Noonan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Vice tries to work over Noonan's front leg with a kick but Noonan checks it. Vice fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Noonan throws a low kick but it's checked well by Vice. A big right from Vice misses. Vice throws a predictable looking body shot
and Noonan counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Vice! Noonan landing a few strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Noonan is trying to get an arm triangle but Vice is defending well. Noonan with the ground and pound but Vice regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Noonan is trying to control. Vice wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vice wants to improve his position but Noonan is controlling well.
Noonan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vice doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Noonan. Noonan is looking to take a break and control but Vice is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Noonan is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Vice works his way to full guard. Good work. Noonan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Vice is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Noonan, into his guard. Noonan looking for a sweep. Not yet Noonan, not yet. Noonan trying to keep a closed guard but Vice is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Vice with a flurry of punches that miss. Vice wants to pass the guard but Noonan is keeping the position. Noonan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Noonan working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Vice has passed into half guard!
Vice thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Noonan's head. Noonan trying to control from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Noonan wants to get back to full guard. Noonan is looking to get back to full guard here but Vice has managed to pass to side control instead. Noonan struggling a bit here. Noonan regains half guard, as Vice was trying to land strikes. Noonan wants to control but Vice is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Noonan tries to roll over but Vice keeps him under control. Noonan looking for submissions from an awkward position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Michael Noonan will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
An inside leg kick from Noonan misses. A good leg kick by Vice. Vice tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Vice blocks a low kick nicely. Noonan lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Miami Vice has been cut. Noonan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Vice throws the left hand but Noonan avoids the punch easily. Vice lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Vice has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Vice loads up on a big right hand but Noonan slips the punch. Vice lands a jab. Vice lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Michael Noonan has been cut. Miami Vice seems to be getting the better of the standup. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A clash of legs there as Vice blocks the low kick. Noonan shoots in but no luck this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Noonan lands a leg kick that knocks Vice off balance momentarily. Noonan avoids the head kick by Vice.
Noonan looks to land a body kick but Vice moved away. Vice scores with a nice body kick.
Good leg kick by Vice there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Noonan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Noonan throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Vice counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Vice. Vice creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Noonan's defenses. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Vice lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Vice has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Vice breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Noonan throws a leg kick that is checked and Vice moves into the clinch. Noonan takes an elbow to the forehead.
Michael Noonan's cut is getting worse. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vice scores with a nice hook to the head. A nice glancing elbow lands by Vice. Still in the clinch, Vice scores with a nice short uppercut. Noonan avoids a wild elbow strike from Vice.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Noonan takes an elbow to the temple.
Michael Noonan's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Vice lands with a left to the head. Vice lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Vice breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vice moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Vice throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Noonan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Jeez, Michael Noonan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. A chopping leg kick lands by Vice. Noonan shoots in but Vice avoids the takedown attempt easily. Noonan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Michael Noonan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Miami Vice! Miami Vice decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. Michael Noonan was interviewed post fight and said 'Damn cuts...'.
