Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Errol Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Demir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Errol Mason! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Demir! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mason throws a chopping leg kick but Demir manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Excellent takedown into side control there by Demir. Mason tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Demir wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Mason dodges the ground and pound from Demir. Demir trying to control the action but Mason is working from the bottom. Mason might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mason regains half guard. Mason really is a fat lump. Demir thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Demir wants to free his trapped foot but Mason is holding on for dear life with his legs. Demir stands up from half guard. Mason throws a leg kick but Demir checks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Demir rushes Mason and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Demir breaks the clinch.
Demir lands a nice shot that snaps Mason's head back.
Mason tries to sprawl but Demir drives through with a takedown into half guard. Mason is trying to get back to full guard. Mason is working hard here to advance position. Demir seems to be working for a kimura but Mason defends the submission attempt. Demir slows the pace down in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mason trying to control here.
Demir wants to pass to mount but Mason is defending the position. Demir gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Demir turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Demir pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mason back to the cage. Demir follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Errol Mason has been cut. Mason tries to close the distance and clinch but Demir swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Demir fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mason sprawls well initially but Demir persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Demir trying to control the pace. Mason actively working from the bottom here. Demir is looking for a kimura here.
Mason tries to roll over but Demir keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Demir controlling the action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Demir working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Mason's thigh. Mason counters though and makes it back to full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mason is trying to keep Demir in close.

Demir closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Demir trying to control the pace. Mason is looking to regain full guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Mason can't keep his opponent in guard - Demir advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Demir trying to control from half guard but Mason is working away. Demir lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Demir performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Demir not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Demir stands up out of the half guard. Demir gets a double leg takedown into Mason's guard. Chris Demir has got the better of the ground game so far. Demir stands up from guard. Let's bang! A right-left combo lands from Demir. Demir gets a double leg takedown into Mason's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mason is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Demir is aware though and is defending well. Mason keeping moving, preventing Demir from controlling successfully. Demir throwing strikes from guard but Mason blocks nicely. Demir sitting in guard, not really doing much. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Demir showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Errol Mason's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Demir throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Mason gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Mason throws a left and a right that both miss
and Demir counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Demir. Demir pulls Mason into guard.
Demir has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Demir looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mason is one step ahead there. Demir is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mason won't allow Demir to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Demir pushes Mason off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Demir darts in and clinches Mason up against the cage. Mason misses with a hook to the ribs.
Mason can't find room to land a body shot as Demir controls the action.
Demir slows down the pace here.
Demir lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Demir works his way into side control. Demir decides to stand back up. Demir steps back and let's Mason get back to his feet. Demir closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Demir lands in his opponent's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Demir controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Demir trying to control the position from guard on top but Mason is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mason looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Demir has picked Mason up and slammed him! Mason can't keep hold of the triangle and Demir manages to pass to side control! Demir working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Demir misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Demir decides to stand back up. Demir steps back and let's Mason get back to his feet. Mason tries to sprawl but Demir drives through with a takedown into half guard. Ground and pound from Demir. Demir thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mason's head. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Demir is pressing down on Mason's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mason is holding on for now. Demir is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mason wants to control but Demir is keeping busy.
Mason wants to get back to his feet.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Demir is figuring out what he wants to do next. Errol Mason has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chris Demir is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Demir's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Demir comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Demir has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
