The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vonny tries to clinch but Danzig moves out of range.
And Danzig tries to counter it with a takedown but Vonny pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Danzig looks to land a combination but Vonny avoids it well.
Vonny lands a big head kick that sends Danzig tumbling to the mat! Vonny takes a step backwards and waves Danzig back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Danzig is rocked!
It looks like Glenn Danzig has been cut.
Vonny lands a big right hook! Danzig looks hurt but is still standing! Vonny lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Danzig falls down and Vonny dives in with a huge hammer fist! Danzig's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Vonny runs up the ropes to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Chad Vonny!
An out of breath Chad Vonny thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
