The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Azarov drives through and clinches with Mercado against the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Azarov creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Azarov is looking to control Mercado's arms but Mercado gets an underhook and turns him. Now Azarov has his back to the cage.

Mercado jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Azarov walks away with a smile on his face. Mercado gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Azarov closes the distance and clinches.
Azarov tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Mercado escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Azarov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Azarov is sitting in close to Mercado's body. Mercado has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Azarov is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Azarov is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mercado.
