Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leopoldo Hewitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Makoy Willoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leopoldo Hewitt has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leopoldo Hewitt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Makoy Willoy! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Willoy moves into range and clinches up with Hewitt. Willoy tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Willoy gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Hewitt regains guard.
Hewitt is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Willoy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hewitt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Willoy tries to stand but Hewitt is controlling from the bottom. Hewitt could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Hewitt looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hewitt is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hewitt is looking to take a break and control but Willoy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Willoy can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Willoy pushes Hewitt off looking to stand but Hewitt dives back in and keeps control.
Hewitt landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Hewitt thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Willoy's head. Hewitt is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Willoy has managed to free his arm - good work. Hewitt thows a huge punch but Willoy dodges it nicely.
Hewitt looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hewitt slips a nice elbow through Willoy's hands, connecting with Willoy's forehead. Hewitt wants to control but Willoy is keeping him busy. Hewitt wants to work for an arm triangle but Willoy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hewitt thows a huge punch but Willoy dodges it nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hewitt missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Hewitt is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Hewitt is nestled in close to Willoy, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hewitt connects with a nice short shot to Willoy's temple.

Hewitt working Willoy over with strikes. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hewitt seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hewitt bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Hewitt fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Hewitt connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Willoy some visible discomfort.
Willoy wants to get back to his feet but Hewitt drags him back down. Leopoldo Hewitt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hewitt is chipping away with strikes.

Hewitt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hewitt stands up. Hewitt is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hewitt tries to clinch but Willoy moves out of range. Hewitt closes the distance and clinches.

Hewitt throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Hewitt drags the fight down to the ground.
Willoy won't allow Hewitt to get back to his feet. Hewitt is pulling down on Willoy's head to control his posture. Hewitt manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Willoy manages to get himself to full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hewitt's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Hewitt lands a couple of elbows. Hewitt working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hewitt working some strikes from top position. Hewitt lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hewitt with a flurry of punches that miss. Hewitt thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hewitt postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Hewitt might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hewitt working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hewitt is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hewitt working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Willoy's head. Hewitt landing some decent shots from guard. Hewitt is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Willoy can do to turn this around?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hewitt stands up over Willoy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Hewitt throwing strikes but missing. Hewitt drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Hewitt as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Willoy screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Hewitt! Nice submission victory there!
