Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brutus Fulgore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Im (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fulgore comes into the arena with WINDS OF PLAGUE - Open The Gates Of Hell blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fulgore lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Im circles away quickly and effectively.
Im should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fulgore throws a leg kick but Im checks it.
Fulgore takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Fulgore throws out a loose jab but Im uses good head movement to avoid it.

Im feints and then cracks Fulgore's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fulgore down.

Fulgore goes for a double leg but Im avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Im continues to drive forward.

Im breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Im counters with a series of strikes. Fulgore will be more careful next time no doubt.
Joe Im is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fulgore swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Im connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fulgore momentarily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Fulgore darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Joe Im has been cut.
Fulgore throws the left hand but Im avoids the punch easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Brutus Fulgore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fulgore is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Im is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Fulgore has hold of Im's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Im seems comfortable defending it but Fulgore has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Im is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Im is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Fulgore couldn't care less - he's delighted!

After winning the bout, Brutus Fulgore thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
