Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Battle tries to keep at a distance but Kozakowski has taken the fight into the clinch.
Battle swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kozakowski has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Battle regains guard immediately.
Kozakowski wants to control from the top but Battle keeps moving.
Kozakowski looking to sit in guard and control but Battle gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kozakowski has an active guard here but Battle has managed to pass into half guard.
Battle lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Battle is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Battle looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Battle looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Battle is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Battle takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Kozakowski actively working from the bottom here.
Kozakowski looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Battle pushes past his half guard into mount!
Battle putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Kozakowski is squirming around, avoiding Battle's attempts to control the action.
Kozakowski is looking to get to half guard.
Battle blocks Kozakowski's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Kozakowski wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Battle has the hooks in. Kozakowski is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Battle passes his arm under Kozakowski's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Kozakowski taps!
