Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Street (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Geissen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Street comes to the cage accompanied by The Truth. Michael Street has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Street! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shawn Geissen! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Street scores with a punch to the head. Geissen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Street. Street blocks a head kick by Geissen.

and Geissen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Street moves to clinch but Geissen breaks away and Geissen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Geissen throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Street scores with a jab. Geissen acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Geissen slips a straight right by Street. Geissen tries to bum rush Street with a series of wild strikes but Street uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Street blocks a head kick by Geissen.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A swing and a miss from Street. Michael Street seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Street lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Geissen moves out of range of the strikes. Geissen looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Street will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And Geissen responds with a good body kick, but Street manages to step out the way in time. Geissen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Street. Geissen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Street definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Street looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Street passes to side control. Street postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
You can see the frustration on Geissen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Street is trying to ground and pound but Geissen uses the momentary lack of control by Street to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Geissen has his hands clasped together around Street's back. He's all about the action. Street trying to mount his opponent but Geissen defends it. Street thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Street tries to pass the half guard into mount. Geissen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Nice work. Street will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Street throws a big elbow that misses. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Street accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Street is fighting to break Geissen's control of his arms but Geissen is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Street shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Geissen defends it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Street scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Geissen lands a lovely overhand right. Street connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Street swings away with a body shot that misses
and Geissen scores with a counter punch that sends Street to the canvas! Geissen smells blood - he's punishing Street with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Street has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
