Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Patric Jozic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marrell Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Jones rushes Jozic and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jozic connects with a knee to the head.
Jozic tries a knee to the head but Jones blocks it.
Jones has Jozic pressed against the cage.
Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jozic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jozic swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones.
Jozic is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jozic shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well.
Jones tries to clinch but Jozic is having none of it.
Jones looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Jones is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jozic is controlling him.
Jozic wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
Jozic is looking to work some ground and pound but Jones has wrist control.
Jozic is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jozic swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Marrell Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Jones feints and as Jozic raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jozic has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Jones has passed into side control.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Jones is keen to just control but Jozic is a slippery customer.

Jones is looking to regain half guard here but Jozic keeps moving and retains side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jozic is keen to just control but Jones is a slippery customer.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jones is trying to maintain the position but Jozic is very close to passing his half guard.
Jozic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working.
Jozic stands up out of the half guard.
Jozic takes the fight into the clinch.
Jozic has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jones avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Jozic turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jozic manages to end up in side control.

Marrell Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jones winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
