Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grigori Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Retsu Kaioh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tired and clearly flustered, he entered the arena late and after a little discussion it was decided that the bout should take place. Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grigori Rasputin and Retsu Kaioh. Rasputin comes into the arena with Symphony of Destruction blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Grigori Rasputin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Retsu Kaioh! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaioh looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Rasputin throws a right and a left that Kaioh avoids nicely. Rasputin blocks a low kick nicely. Kaioh lands with a shot to the body. Rasputin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kaioh lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Kaioh connects with a single shot there. Kaioh dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kaioh scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Kaioh misses with a low kick. A decent looking cross lands there for Kaioh. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kaioh throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rasputin throws a body kick that misses. Kaioh throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kaioh throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Rasputin. Rasputin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kaioh. Rasputin avoids the head kick by Kaioh.
Kaioh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kaioh looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Kaioh swings for the body but Rasputin moves out of range.
Kaioh checks the leg kick nicely there.
Kaioh cracks the inside of Rasputin's front leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rasputin lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. We've been informed that Kaioh has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Rasputin looks to land a right hand but Kaioh moved out of range. Kaioh scores with a crisp jab that stopped Rasputin in his tracks. Kaioh scores with a jab to the head.
Rasputin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. This has been an exciting period of action! Kaioh is looking to slow Rasputin down with leg kicks. Nice uppercut lands for Kaioh. That snapped Rasputin's head back.

Rasputin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaioh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rasputin was well out of range. Poor timing from Kaioh. Kaioh avoids the head kick by Rasputin.
Kaioh throws a leg kick letting Rasputin counter with a right hand. Kaioh comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Kaioh throws a front kick aimed at Rasputin's knee but Rasputin avoids it well. Kaioh throws a leg kick and Rasputin counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Kaioh misses with a straight right. Rasputin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Rasputin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kaioh. A thudding body kick lands there by Kaioh!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kaioh lands a right hook to the body.
Rasputin is breathing heavily. Kaioh lands a jab to Rasputin's midsection. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rasputin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kaioh lands a lovely overhand right. Kaioh jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rasputin has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kaioh. Kaioh connects with a solid leg kick. Rasputin checks a leg kick. Kaioh scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Kaioh connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Retsu Kaioh dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rasputin moves away from the strike by Kaioh. Rasputin slips a jab and a cross from Kaioh.
Good work by Kaioh as he checks the leg kick. Sloppy strikes from Kaioh. Those never looked like landing. Rasputin gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Rasputin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rasputin avoids a low kick by using good footwork. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rasputin tests Kaioh's chin there with a solid looking shot. Oooooh!!! Rasputin has knocked Kaioh down with a huge combo! Rasputin steps away and waves a wobbly Kaioh back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Retsu Kaioh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rasputin connects with a nice looking jab.
Grigori Rasputin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rasputin blocks a head kick by Kaioh.
Rasputin throws a nice inside leg kick. Kaioh throws a leg kick but Rasputin moved away. Kaioh getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Kaioh tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kaioh lands a left and a right that send Rasputin crashing to the mat, dazed. Kaioh thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Rasputin is rocked!
It looks like Grigori Rasputin has been cut. Kaioh closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Rasputin out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Retsu Kaioh! Our winner, Retsu Kaioh, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. The defeated Grigori Rasputin had this to say: 'Сукин сын!'.
