Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Newton Barlow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sin Cara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sin Cara will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Newton Barlow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sin Cara! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cara shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Barlow's guard. Cara stands up from Barlow's guard - Cara perhaps looking for a knockout. Barlow moves out of range of the body kick from Cara.
Cara closes the distance and pushes Barlow back into the cage. Barlow manages to break the clinch.
Cara misses with a wild combination.
Cara looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Barlow tries to keep at a distance but Cara has taken the fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cara works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barlow trying to control the position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barlow avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Barlow controlling the position. Cara preventing the sweep. Barlow is pulling down on Cara's head. It's preventing any offense from Cara, at least for the moment. Cara must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cara would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Cara seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Barlow controlling Cara's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cara is stalling in the full guard. Barlow is trying to control the position but Cara postures up. Barlow managing to control the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Barlow could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cara rushes Barlow and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Cara wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Barlow has Cara pressed against the cage, preventing Cara from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Barlow goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Cara jumps guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Barlow's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Cara has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Barlow has passed into side control.
Cara is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barlow tries for a kimura but Cara is defending well. Cara is looking to regain half guard here but Barlow keeps moving and retains side control. Cara looks to move to half guard but instead Barlow has passed into mount! Damn! Barlow has hold of Cara's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cara manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Barlow won't let Cara get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sin Cara dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cara decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Cara trying to pass the guard but Barlow defending well. It looks like Cara is going to stand back up.
Barlow moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Cara decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cara shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Barlow manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Barlow working a defensive guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cara gets to his feet - Barlow follows without any prompting. Cara wants to clinch but Barlow slips to the side and Barlow decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cara's guard. Cara wants to sweep here but Barlow controlling him for the moment. Barlow trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Barlow postures up.
Cara working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Barlow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Barlow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barlow drops back looking for a leg! Cara is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cara manages to kick Barlow off! Barlow jumps back into Cara's guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Cara pushes Barlow off and scrambles back to his feet.
Cara lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Barlow backs up against the cage.
It looks like Newton Barlow has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cara shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cara showed some decent athleticism there. Barlow is trying to control but can't.
Barlow might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Barlow is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cara is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Cara thows a huge punch but Barlow dodges it nicely.
Cara stops Barlow from getting back to his feet.
Cara not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Barlow is doing well to control the position and prevent Cara from advancing to side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barlow tries to kick Cara off but Cara keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Cara is keen to just control but Barlow is a slippery customer.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Sin Cara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cara shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Barlow napping and manages to drive through into side control! Barlow struggling a bit here. Sin Cara has got the better of the ground game so far. Cara decides to take the fight back to the feet. Cara has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Barlow tries to clinch but Cara is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cara wants to clinch up but Barlow keeps it at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sin Cara showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Newton Barlow's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Cara throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Barlow was covering up waiting for the punch and Cara finishes the takedown easily into guard. Barlow is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Cara flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Cara has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Barlow is working away from the top position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cara moves into full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Cara is controlling Barlow's trapped leg to prevent Barlow from advancing to side control. Barlow throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Cara trying to control but Barlow postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cara is trying to stand up here but Barlow is controlling him well. Cara wants to control but Barlow is keeping busy and won't allow it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Barlow is controlling Cara's posture. Barlow tries to land a sweep but no joy. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Cara throwing strikes but missing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Barlow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cara tries to avoid it but Barlow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cara to the ground. Cara escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Cara scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Barlow tries to roll over but Cara keeps him under control. Newton Barlow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sin Cara is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Cara keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
And that's the end of the fight! Sin Cara comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Cara has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
