Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Christian Phaneuf!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phaneuf wants to clinch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Phaneuf tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Maccarone counters with a stiff right hand.
Maccarone lands a big head kick that sends Phaneuf tumbling to the mat! Maccarone takes a step backwards and waves Phaneuf back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Phaneuf is rocked!
Phaneuf tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Maccarone counters with a right hand from hell and Phaneuf is out cold! A vicious knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Charlie Maccarone!
A relieved looking Charlie Maccarone thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
