Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greg Gsp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tristan Torton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Greg Gsp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tristan Torton! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gsp darts in and clinches Torton up against the cage. Torton is trying to push Gsp away but Gsp has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Torton wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gsp has him pressed against the cage. A body shot lands from Gsp.
Torton wants a takedown.
Torton blocks a body shot from Gsp. Torton tries to circle away but Gsp has him pinned against the cage. Torton avoids the elbow strike from Gsp, against the cage.
Gsp tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Gsp misses with some punches.
Torton takes an elbow to the forehead. Gsp tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Torton's elbow. Gsp stalling in the clinch but Torton improves position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gsp breaks from the clinch.
Torton missing with a left hand there. Gsp was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Torton getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Gsp shoots for a double leg takedown but Torton sprawls well. He's pushed Gsp's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Torton keeps the fight on the outside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gsp tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gsp fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gsp darts in trying to clinch and Torton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Gsp shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gsp showed some decent athleticism there. Torton keeping control of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gsp wants to control but Torton is keeping him busy. Gsp thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Torton's head. Torton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gsp. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gsp looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Torton with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gsp lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Gsp looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Gsp is looking for a kimura here.
Gsp lands with a punch from half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Torton can do anything to dispel that myth. Gsp working the head and body with strikes. Gsp looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Torton with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gsp decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gsp steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Torton. Gsp fails to land the takedown. Gsp closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gsp lands in his opponent's guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Gsp working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Gsp postures up and lands a big shot to Torton's brow. Gsp passes easily into side control. Nice work. Gsp is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Torton has escaped the position, nice work there. Gsp connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Torton some visible discomfort.
Torton is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gsp is trying to get an arm triangle but Torton is defending well. A big shot lands for Gsp! That's hurt Torton! Will he recover? Gsp fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Greg Gsp! Greg Gsp was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
