Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Gillis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wes Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gillis comes to the cage accompanied by I Don't Feel Like Dancing - Scissor Sisters. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jamie Gillis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Wes Walker! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gillis misses with a body shot.
Walker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Walker slips a straight right by Gillis. Walker connects with a body shot that sends Gillis's belly button to the back. Wes Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gillis moves away from the strike by Walker. Jab, jab by Walker - just one landing. Walker lands with an uppercut that bounces Gillis off the cage and back into range. Gillis throws out a loose jab but Walker uses good head movement to avoid it. Walker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gillis was well out of range. Poor timing from Walker. Walker throws a quick inside leg kick. Gillis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Walker swivels and escapes. Walker throws a jab but it's blocked by Gillis. Gillis misses with a looping left. Gillis takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Walker bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gillis's head backwards. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gillis swings for the body but Walker moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Walker. Gillis does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gillis takes a body punch but keeps moving. The fighters circling - Gillis throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Gillis takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Gillis thows a left - swing and a miss! Walker scores with a shot to the body.
Walker thuds his shin into the meat of Gillis's side. Walker scores with a jab. Walker misses with a body shot.
Gillis misses with a straight right. Wes Walker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Walker lunges at Gillis with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gillis's hand. Walker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gillis has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Walker. Walker throws a body punch but Gillis moves out of range. Walker connects with a single shot there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gillis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Walker was well out of range. Poor timing from Gillis.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. A big right from Gillis misses. The fighters circle momentarily. Gillis darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Gillis has been working on his balance at Team Hopkins, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Walker. Walker misses with a hook. Good work by Gillis as he checks the leg kick. Walker just misses with a punch to the body.
Walker slips a straight right by Gillis. Gillis scores with a jab to the jaw. Gillis on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Walker. Walker obviously looking to wear him down.
Walker connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Jamie Gillis has been cut. Gillis slips under a jab. Jab by Walker. Walker motions for Gillis to come forward. Walker throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Gillis throws a hook to the side of Walker's head but Walker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker moves into range and connects with a jab. Walker throws an overhand right that lands on Gillis's shoulder, as Gillis tries to avoid the shot. Walker swings for the body but Gillis moves out of range.
Walker bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Gillis tries to move into range but Walker moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Gillis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Walker.
Walker connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gillis momentarily.
Walker looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Walker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gillis manages to avoid it. Gillis scores with a shot to the body.
Walker throws a body shot but no joy. A cross from Walker lands. Gillis shoots in and bounces Walker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Gillis looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gillis throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Walker is pulling down on Gillis's head. It's preventing any offense from Gillis, at least for the moment. Gillis is looking to work some ground and pound but Walker has wrist control. Gillis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Walker's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wes Walker dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jamie Gillis's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Walker thumps Gillis with a low kick. Gillis darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Gillis prevents Walker from improving his position. Walker is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gillis performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Walker is looking for a sweep. Gillis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Walker manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Gillis lands a couple of decent looking shots. Gillis in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Walker looking to control.
Walker has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Camelot's Court. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Walker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Walker is pulling down on Gillis's head. It's preventing any offense from Gillis, at least for the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Gillis looks to score with a jab to the body but Walker is just out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gillis is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Walker throws out a powerful jab. Gillis blocks a head kick by Walker.
Gillis rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Walker to counter with a crisp jab. Walker scores with a sloppy right hand. Gillis should have avoided that one. Walker connects with a jab. Walker sizes up Gillis with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Gillis moves out of range of the strikes. Walker tries to land a leg kick but Gillis saw it coming and moves away.
Walker connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Gillis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Walker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Walker misses with a hook. Gillis ducked under it nicely. Walker lands a right hook to the body.
Wes Walker seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crunch! Walker slams his shin into Gillis's torso. Gillis tries to bum rush Walker with a series of wild strikes but Walker uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Walker pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Walker misses with an uppercut. Gillis needs to keep his hands up - Walker had a free shot at his head there. Nice defenses there by Walker. Gillis has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Walker. Walker lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Gillis lands with an overhand left. Walker connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. A shot to the liver by Walker. Beautiful body shot. Walker fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gillis. Walker has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Walker scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Walker loads up on a big right hand but Gillis slips the punch.

Walker pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Walker keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gillis. Gillis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gillis lands in his opponent's guard. Gillis trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Gillis trying to control the position from guard on top but Walker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gillis missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wes Walker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jamie Gillis's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
Walker explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Walker avoids a punch combination nicely.
Walker uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gillis has time to react. Walker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gillis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Walker throws a good cross that connects.
Walker throws out a loose jab but Gillis uses good head movement to avoid it. Nice shot by Walker. Gillis checks a leg kick. Walker lands a big head kick that sends Gillis tumbling to the mat! Walker takes a step backwards and waves Gillis back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Gillis is rocked! Gillis looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A swing and a miss from Gillis. Oh Gillis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Walker smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A big left from Walker misses. Walker scores with a leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Walker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gillis circles away quickly and effectively. Gillis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Gillis misses with a wild body shot. Gillis walks into a straight right hand from Walker. Nice cross by Walker. Gillis closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Walker's guard. Gillis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Walker's head. Walker preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Gillis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Walker is keeping the position for now. Walker trying to control the position.
Jamie Gillis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gillis seems to have got his legs back now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gillis with a flurry of punches that miss. Gillis in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Walker working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gillis.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Walker throws a hook to the side of Gillis's head but Gillis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Walker lands a nice shot to the body.
Walker throws a leg kick but Gillis sees it coming and moves out of range. Walker is looking to score with low kicks. Gillis throws out a loose jab but Walker uses good head movement to avoid it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gillis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Walker manages to avoid it. Walker turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Walker connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Gillis takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Gillis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Gillis gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Walker. Walker misses with a hook. Gillis looks to land a left hand but Walker moved out of range nicely. Walker ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Wes Walker is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walker missing with a left hand there. Gillis was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Gillis scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fighters circling - Gillis throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Walker bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Gillis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Walker's waist but Walker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gillis off to one side. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Gillis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Walker.
A telegraphed right hand from Gillis misses the target. Walker looks to score with a jab to the body but Gillis is just out of range. Walker cracks a nice hook into Gillis's ribs. Walker lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

And that's the end of the fight! Wes Walker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Walker winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The thing was I trained hard for this fight and for it not to go my way really sucks but it is what it is now going '.
