Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Lee Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Daniels might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kid Rock - Bawitdaba . I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tyson Jacobs was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Bobby Lee Daniels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyson Jacobs! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Jacobs swings away with a leg kick that misses. Jacobs rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Daniels counters with a straight right hand. Daniels on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jacobs. Jacobs obviously looking to wear him down.
Jacobs listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Daniels throws a nice looking combination but Jacobs bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Daniels misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jacobs.

A decent looking cross lands there for Jacobs. Daniels fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jacobs manages to avoid it. Jacobs lands a nice leg kick that just misses Daniels's sensitive parts. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jacobs is looking to score with low kicks. Daniels lands with a slapping head kick. Jacobs walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Daniels checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Jacobs ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Daniels moves away. Jacobs fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A jab from Daniels misses. Jacobs finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

and Daniels counters with a single leg into guard. Jacobs didn't expect that. Daniels slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Daniels postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Daniels throws a big elbow that misses. Daniels scoring with some ground and pound. Daniels trying to control but Jacobs is working from the bottom. Jacobs working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Daniels. Jacobs throws his legs up looking for a submission but Daniels uses it to pass to side control.
Daniels misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Daniels is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Daniels wants to control but Jacobs is keeping him busy. That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jacobs throws a big elbow that misses. Daniels has control of Jacobs's left arm, preventing Jacobs from doing any damage. Jacobs won't allow Daniels to sweep him here. Daniels has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Daniels trying to control the position.

Jacobs misses with a straight left. A low kick from Daniels is predictable there and Jacobs counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jacobs. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Daniels keeping moving, preventing Jacobs from controlling successfully. Daniels preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Daniels is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jacobs's corner. There ya go! There ya go! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jacobs wants to control from the top but Daniels keeps moving. Daniels wants to sweep here but Jacobs controlling him for the moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Jacobs throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Jacobs feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Danielss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Daniels looks to land a left hand but Jacobs moved out of range nicely. Jacobs throws a big shot that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A low kick from Daniels misses so Jacobs counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jacobs scoring with some ground and pound. Jacobs controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Daniels is pulling down on Jacobs's head. It's preventing any offense from Jacobs, at least for the moment. Daniels looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jacobs is one step ahead there. Jacobs controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jacobs trying to control the position from guard on top but Daniels is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jacobs accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Daniels just misses with a punch to the body.

Jacobs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tyson Jacobs seems to be getting the better of the standup. A decent looking body kick lands there for Jacobs. A shot to the liver by Jacobs. Beautiful body shot. Jacobs ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Daniels moves away. A leg kick checked by Daniels. Both fighters circling a little - Jacobs finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Daniels takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyson Jacobs showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Daniels takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Jacobs scores with a sloppy right hand. Daniels should have avoided that one. Jacobs lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jacobs gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Daniels shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jacobs eats them both and turns towards Daniels to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Daniels fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jacobs has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Jacobs misses with a body shot.
Daniels half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Jacobs dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Daniels. That did some damage! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jacobs.

Daniels uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jacobs has time to react. Daniels is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jacobs. Daniels fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Jacobs takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Daniels takes a swing at Jacobs's ribcage but misses. As Daniels backs off Jacobs throws a huge counter combo but Daniels manages to avoid it all. Jacobs lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Jacobs misses with a hook. Daniels is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

and Jacobs counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Daniels takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Jacobs misses with an uppercut. Daniels saw that one coming. Daniels looks to score with a jab to the body but Jacobs is just out of range. Jacobs is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Daniels throws a low kick but Jacobs avoids it. Daniels doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Daniels takes a shot right to the bread basket. Daniels wants to slow Jacobs down by chopping away at his legs. Jacobs lands a high kick!

Tyson Jacobs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jacobs lands with a straight right. Daniels didn't see that one coming. Daniels lands a jab to Jacobs's midsection. Daniels uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jacobs. Jacobs's jab looks to have found its range, popping Daniels under the eye. Jacobs blocks a jab. Daniels avoids the head kick by Jacobs.

and Jacobs counters with a single leg into guard. Daniels didn't expect that. Jacobs throws an elbow that misses. Daniels uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jacobs's guard. Nice move by Daniels!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Daniels postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that's the end of the fight! Tyson Jacobs comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jacobs has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
