The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hakob fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pyotr, pushing him back against the cage.
Pyotr is trying to break the clinch but Hakob has him pressed against the cage.
Hakob lands an elbow just above Pyotr 's eye.
It looks like Vitaly Pyotr has been cut.
Hakob lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Hakob lands an elbow inside that Pyotr shrugs off.
Pyotr tries to break the clinch but Hakob is controlling the position.
Pyotr takes an elbow to the forehead.
That has opened up Vitaly Pyotr's cut even more.
Hakob lands a nice elbow.
Pyotr is looking to break free of the clinch but Hakob has double underhooks.
Hakob gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Hakob.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hakob lands an elbow inside that Pyotr shrugs off.
Pyotr is rocked!
The cut above Vitaly Pyotr's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Pyotr is pressed against the cage. Hakob pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Pyotr! Two more big strikes from Hakob and Pyotr crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Daniel Hakob!
